Bayaka: Yeyi
In this recording you could hear a small group of women singing as they move through the forest. The language they are singing in is called ‘Yeyi’. Yeyi is a special kind of singing, a little bit like yodelling! Yeyi can be sung by one person or by big groups of sixty or more people….
