Nick Hamilton is a radio broadcaster, field recordist and sound artist.
Nick Hamilton created a series of broadcasts for Resonance FM including Edible Landscapes in 2008 and Lost Steps. He has also contributed many field recordings to the London Sound Survey.
Lost Steps was conceived by Malcom Hopkins and Nick Hamilton whilst walking, drinking and talking their way around central London on a walk led by Tony Gilles. It was a series of weekly radio programmes with invited guests that explored lost London. Each episode discussed aspects of London literature and culture that seldom reached the mainstream media, often neglected as time passes by.
Hamilton previously created London-based radio and sound pieces with Iain Sinclair, Michael Parsons, Stewart Home, John Barker and Robin Bale.
