Natalie is a composer, performer, educator and researcher whose work takes her into schools, arts settings and community spaces. Recently her music has been played on BBC Radio 3 and in the largest wholesale market in Europe. She composes for a range of ensembles including bands Into The Zoetrope and Kamura Obscura. Since 2015, Natalie has been directing the Multicultural Music Making project (MMM) she created in partnership with Friction Arts, supported by Youth Music. MMM is guided and informed by children and families in the West Midlands, who learn and share music alongside composition and performance opportunities. Natalie is currently researching international and intercultural music-making as a Midlands4Cities PhD student at the University of Birmingham.
