Kaushiki Chakraborty is a successful classical Indian vocalist, who was trained by her father. She is famous for singing the thumris and is also interested in philosophy.
Kaushiki performs internationally and she also tries to do unique performances in which she tries to push existing time structures in classical Indian music tradition. In the similar progressive spirit, seeing the gap between female and male ratio, she tries to support female singers with weekly talk shows and other platforms!
