Alghoza player Ustad Akbar Khamiso Khan, born in Hyderabad in India in 1976, as the youngest son of Ustad Khamiso Khan, who is one of the greatest alghoza players in recorded history. He learnt the instrument from his father and made his first professional performance at the Radio Pakistan Show when he was 20. After radio, he went on to perform for television and then for growing live audiences both in Pakistan and abroad. He is one of the most important alghoza players currently practicing!
