A wah-wah pedal is a type of foot pedal that you can attach to an electrical instrument, such as an electric guitar, bass guitar or electronic keyboard.
It gets its name from the ‘wah’ sound it produces! It creates this sound by altering the tone and frequency of the signal. The wah-wah pedal was invented in 1966 and is used in jazz, rock, blues, metal and funk music.
