A verse-chorus structure is the basic foundation of most popular music. The chorus usually returns with the same words each time and often includes the title words. The verse usually has different words with each repetition but might be set to the same melody. There might also a bridge, which is a contrasting passage, and a coda, the section at the end of a song.
