Animals use a variety of different sounds to communicate with each other. They may do this to attract a mate, warn off predators (other animals that will eat it), warn others away from danger, find out where to go and a huge variety of other reasons. Some of these sounds are attractive, even musical, to our ears, some we can understand, some we can’t. All the sounds involve essential communication between animals.
