International Women’s Day on Minute of Listening

This year, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day with a dedicated collection of minutes and resources. This forms part of Sound and Music’s programme of activities marking International Women’s Day on 8^th March, celebrating the achievements of female composers and musicians everywhere.

The collection explores a wide range of music, offering a mix of positive female role models for aspiring young composers and musicians. This content is free to schools who already have a paid for account (including all schools in Bristol and Hull). There are also specially created lesson plans and activities for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes, free to access for anyone.
