Rob Jones

Rob Jones is a composer and community music practitioner based in Birmingham. He studied composition at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague before co-founding Misfits Music, an organisation that aims to bring people together through music. Rob’s experience as a composer extends from projects with the Dutch National Opera and the Residentie Orkest to writing for an amateur choir as part of Sound and Music’s Adopt a Composer Scheme. As well as composing, Rob is a teacher in many settings including Visiting Tutor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Composition Department.
